One of the major recruitment exams conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is the Combined Higher Secondary Level exam. It is an entry level exam for the post of LDC, UDC, DEO and Postal/Sorting Assistant.

Indian Army: Positions for 10+2 passed students are:

  • Technical Entry Scheme (TES) and Soldiers- Male candidates
  • Mahila Constables (General Duty)

Indian Navy: You can apply for the following positions if you have passed 10+2 examination.
  • Sailor – Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) and Artificer Apprentice
  • Direct entry for 3-year diploma
  • Cadet entry in technical domain
Indian Coast Guard: Various posts for 10+2 passed students are:
  • Naviks and Yantrik
  • Assistant Commandant
  • Airmen in IAF in Technical and Group ‘Y ’Traders
Protective Services: Protective services offer different positions in their various departments after 10+2:
  • Border Security Force (BSF)
  • Central Reserve Police Force
  • Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force
  • Sashastra Seema Bal
  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)

For all of the above exams eligibility criteria is 10+2.
