JEXPO 2018 Application Form: Eligibility, Dates, How to Apply

JEXPO 2018 is a state level joint entrance examination for West Bengal polytechnic.This exam is organized by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education,for admission to different Diploma Courses under the affiliation of the Council in Government / Government Sponsored / Private Polytechnics of the State of West Bengal.In this article, students can get the complete information about JEXPO application form 2018.


JEXPO 2018 application form:

  • Students can get the application form with the information brochure through online or offline mode.
  • The application form of JEXPO 2018 will be available from January 2018
  • Offline application form can be obtained from all Governments, Government sponsored or self-financed polytechnics affiliated to the WBSCT & VE & SD, Government ITI s including PTP run Private and Government ITIs in West Bengal and one center in Tripura.
  • Candidates must fill personal details, qualification details and upload scanned images and photograph correctly in the application form and have to submit the application form before first  week of march 2018.
  • candidates,who applying online need to take a print out after submission of online application.

Application fee:

The application fee with Processing charges for Offline Application will be Rs. 500 and Rs. 225 for Kanyashree Enrollees. The online application fee will be Rs. 450 and Rs. 225 for Kanyashree Enrollees. Application fee can be payable through online net banking, credit card and debit card.

Eligibility criteria:

The following criteria should be match to appear in JEXPO 2018
  • Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Candidate should passed/appearing 10th board exam from any of the recognized board.
  • It is necessary for the candidates to score 35% marks in aggregate in qualifying exam.
  • There is no maximum age limit to appear in the exam. Candidate should not be born after 1 July, 2003.

Syllabus for JEXPO 2018:

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Test syllabus will be based on the Entrance Test of Selected course by the Student. The Following are the Course list for Syllabus to Revise in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Test as with the list of available topics in the written test.
Mathematics: Geometry, Algebra,  Menstruation, Trigonometry Arithmetic, and many others Concepts.
Physics: The system of Measurements & Measuring Devices, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Change of State, Matter & Energy, Rest & Motion, Light, Displacement, Speed, Velocity/ Acceleration, Sound, Work, Energy, Structure of Atom, Power, Properties of gases-pressure and temperature and many other Concepts.
Chemistry: Identification of matter: Physical & Chemical properties, Separation of Mixtures, Solution, Chemical Equation & Chemical reaction, Physical & chemical change, Water, Oxygen, Carbon, Oxides,  base and salts,  Nitrogen, Ammonia, acids, Fuel Carbonaceous, Chemical Bonding, Periodic Table, Electronic theory of Oxidation & reduction and many other Concepts.
